We are excited to introduce to our loyal guests only, our brand new seafront Villa Fanya, which we just added exclusively in our portfolio.
Villa Fanya is designed by a renowned Greek architect and it is an ode to sea-lovers bringing guests as close to the Aegean as possible.
Located on a plot in Mega Gyalos on the island of Syros, it descends right to sea level, while the movement of the sea hums a mesmerising melody at all hours. Featuring a flat design in modern, cubic volumes, the villa stretches to enjoy sea-views from its large inspiring openings. A fabulous pool terrace embellished by a colorful garden and direct access to the sea, through a beautiful wooden deck, create here, a special private Cycladic oasis.
If you feel inspired by the amazing setting of Villa Fanya, contact us for more information.

12: 30 – 14: 15 It All Sounds Greek to Me
An interactive seminar about the Greek language. Where does it live in our body? How are the words formed in our mouths? How is it different than English? We will attempt to decipher the musicality of the Greek language and understand it in a way that goes beyond ordering food at a taverna. We will read excerpts from some of Greece’s greatest poets that exemplify the rhythm and musicality intrinsic in the language.
We will explain the etymology of words that originated in Greek but have become global. The Greek language is a key to understanding the infamous Greek spirit, and perhaps seeing things we took for granted under a new light. It will all sound Greek to you and what beautiful music that will be.
Tutor Meropi Papastergiou is a theater-maker, performer and writer, based out of Athens, Greece. She studied Drama and Women’s Studies at Vassar College, where she acquired her BA with Honors. Since then, she has been working in theater both in Greece and the United States, and as a freelance translator. Every summer she works with One Year Lease Theater Company during their apprenticeship program in the Zagorohoria region of Northwestern Greece. Under her tutelage, a group of theater students who have never studied Greek, learn how to perform an original show they device, completely in Greek by the end of the program. She is also responsible for translating the show as the students are creating it. Her love of language in combination with her theatrical background have led her to develop her own unique method of teaching Greek, specifically tailored for performance. She hopes to make others fall in love with Greek in the same way that she has. She also loves doing stand-up comedy (in both Greek and English) and currently works as the head copy-writer and logistics manager for Cinobo, the first Greek streaming platform, focused on international and independent cinema.
