This is a perfect example of a carefully well mastered restoration of a traditional Ionian country house of the 19th century; a lovely shelter which blends with nature in harmony inviting all those who seek for some pure moments of relaxation in a truly serene rural setting. This villa enjoys a unique location right in a typical Mediterranean forest, featuring 500 year 0ld, big olive trees and pine trees which end on a beautiful thin pebbled beach.

The villa is divided in two volumes paying respect to the original architecture and aesthetics of the anterior building yet with the comforts of a fully functional modern small villa. Its relatively small bedrooms and bathrooms along with the hard wooden details, the cozy furniture and pale colored textiles bring up a luxury version of the "little house in the Prairie". The thick stone walls create a pleasantly cool environment while special emphasis has been given to some tastefully renovated details such as the beautiful colorful tiles in the bathrooms, the mosaics, and some old appliances like a deep-freezer and a telephone which now decorate the sitting areas giving a sweet nostalgic touch in the overall aesthetics. A 15 minutes walk, half of it through a wooded path leads you to a beautiful thin pebbled beach; if however you are not interested in adventurous walks, there is a long array of wonderful beaches which can be reached within a 10 minute drive. By just renting a small boat, you can visit even more wonderful beaches as well as the charming island of Ithaka, just across.The picturesque and cosmopolitan port of Fiscardo with its charming cafes and taverns can be reached at only 5 minute drive.
